Plot

Overall Situation:

Ta Yu is making another attempt at gaining a foothold in the contemporary juncture. He's after a magic ring, a copy of the ring already in his possession. If he can get it his power will increase tremendously!

Sneezy Teng and Happy Cheung will most likely team up again with some Poison Thorn mooks to exact revenge on the PCs.

Fast Eddie Lo could turn a powerful enemy if not handled correctly. He's very disappointed in the PCs following Baptism of Fire.

Big Brother Tsien's hearing stuff he doesn't like one bit. Marvil better tread carefully.

It Smells Like Lotus

Scene 1

Premise:
Ta Yu's goons hit a bank, the PCs happen to be in it. Sneezy shows up itching for a fight, wondering why Ta Yu's going at it alone?

At the Eating Counter. Fast Eddie Loons goons come by for protection money! Threatening call from Ta Yu.

Fight in Sampan City. Dang! Ta Yu's back!

Would certainly have ousted Fast Eddie Lo and taken over his stomping grounds, if not for the actions of the PCs.
Comeback:

The newspapers are reporting that Sneezy Teng was found and arrested following the disaster in the tenement building. He's awaiting a hearing in critical, but stable, condition.

  1. This might lead to Ta Yu springing Sneezy from arrest in order to use him further.
  2. Happy Cheung might try to rescue his old Poison Thorns running mate.
  3. Paul Chang, the one-footed lawyer, will represent Teng in the hearing. Teng will be let free based on a lack of evidence (someone obviously shot Teng as he was trying to rescue Carina and stop some madman from torching the building).

  3. Round up the left-over Poison Thorns and get his revenge!
  4. Spring Sneezy Teng from lock-up and use his help to rebuild the Poison Thorns.

  1. Should a PC find himself in a court of law you can rest assured that Paul Chang will be their prosecutor, or perhaps even better; their defense attorney!

  1. Will send some mooks to the Eating Counter to ask for protection money.
  2. He's disappointed in the PCs due to the fiasco at the burning tenement building. He lost a lot of friends of his family in that inferno!
  3. Mad that Sneezy is still alive! Eddie hires a killer to take him out, and preferably infiltrate the PCs group at the same time.
  4. Big Brother Tsien gets wind of Marvil sniffing around on his trail and decides to take action. He asks Eddie to take care of the situation and as he has a killer infiltrating the PCs group...
